Khorjin Face

17

Though a bit younger in age than the preceding bagface, this piece still captures the drama of the minakhani design and dramatizes it with a field of a most unusual deep sky blue.  It, like plate 16, has a single wefted structure that is also found in very old main carpets using the same design motifs.
