The design repertoire of tentbands is quite varied, with many although not all motifs appearing only in this format. The design elements in this example are particularly large in scale, with comparatively simplified forms. The weaver also made interesting use of multiple reds, with a pink-red in the floral forms that isn’t found elsewhere in this fragment, and rarely appears in other Yomud tent bands and weavings
