Yomud Chuval

Yomud chuvals have an enormous range of design variations, but examples with Tekke torba guls as the primary medallion are very rare. The owner only knows of two other examples: Cassin & Hoffmeister Tent Band Tent Bag #14, which is similar in all design elements except a different floral form in the elem, and another very similar unpublished example with a syrga main border. Both the major and minor guls here have a chunkier and more simplified drawing than Tekke renditions, presumably because of the lower knot count. The forms in the elem are unusual, too, although sometimes seen in 9-gul Yomud chuvals with Erre minor guls.
