Tekke Torba

3' 7" X 1' 7"

14

This torba sports many design rarities: the eight-pointed stars in the centers of the main and secondary guls; the parallelograms in the quarters of the main guls, the presence of a “tertiary gul” in the form of three small white diamonds arrayed vertically, the hook motif in the main border, and the striking figures in the minor borders. But, above all, it is aglow in glorious color. This piece appears in the NERS on-line bag exhibition “To Have and to Hold”.
